Kevin Mastache received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Lilko Timov tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luis Cazalla sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Qiao Qing Ying in the 44th minute of play forced Colombia's goalkeeper Pedro Manzanares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 45th minute, Axel Montenegro made a precise shot to the right of Lilko Timov. VN SOKOLI-VARNA's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The corner led Colombia's Luis Cazalla to fire away a dangerous shot which Lilko Timov despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 76th minute the ball was on its way in behind VN SOKOLI-VARNA's goalkeeper Lilko Timov, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abram Secada in the 84th minute of play forced VN SOKOLI-VARNA's goalkeeper Lilko Timov to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Colombia's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
