Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Julian Murillo got the match started through his kick off. 3 minutes into the match, Olympique Gdynia's goal looked a bit too open when Luz Tejedor came free, but Tanek Ostrowski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tanek Ostrowski stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Luz Tejedor's shot from short distance in the 4th minute. In the 8th minute, Şota Arveladze hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tanek Ostrowski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julian Murillo in the 10th minute of play. 13 minutes into the match, Peru's goal looked a bit too open when Adrian Bobeanu came free, but Rolando Noboa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tanek Ostrowski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luz Tejedor, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 18th minute, Julian Murillo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Peru's supporters rose to their feet, but Julian Murillo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tanek Ostrowski breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Olympique Gdynia's Tanek Ostrowski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Julian Murillo in the 21st minute of play. With an all-out effort, Olympique Gdynia's Rolando Noboa threw himself towards the right post 22 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Şota Arveladze, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Tanek Ostrowski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Julian Murillo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Julian Murillo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tanek Ostrowski having to interfere. In the 33rd minute of the match Peru got a corner. Olympique Gdynia's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Luz Tejedor ran over to the corner to take the kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Şota Arveladze in the 37th minute of play forced Peru's goalkeeper Rolando Noboa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 43 minutes into the match, Şota Arveladze had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Rolando Noboa. Peru's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Şota Arveladze was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. A sloppy throw-in by German Eskuin in the 46th minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Peru's Eliseo Mina. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Adrian Bobeanu made the kick off in the second half. Olympique Gdynia's Tanek Ostrowski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Julian Murillo in the 56th minute of play. Peru were awarded a corner in the 60th minute after Olympique Gdynia's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Luz Tejedor took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Joaquin Prats got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Tanek Ostrowski quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 62nd minute of the match, Julian Murillo tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Tanek Ostrowski saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Julian Murillo in the 63rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tanek Ostrowski saved Olympique Gdynia from getting behind. Rolando Noboa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adrian Bobeanu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Luz Tejedor received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Tanek Ostrowski came out and tried to block the shot, but Luz Tejedor slotted it home off the left post making it 1-2 in the 67th minute. Tanek Ostrowski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julian Murillo in the 77th minute of the match. Peru's Eliseo Alcocer was substituted for Moises Gayoso. Tanek Ostrowski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rafael Gallo, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. Rolando Noboa came out of the goal in the 92nd minute to try and stop a shot by Olympique Gdynia's Şota Arveladze. But to his dismay, Şota Arveladze quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-2. Tanek Ostrowski made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Antonio Tenorio in the 96th minute of play. For all the effort they put into the match, the Peru players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Olympique Gdynia.
