Cristian Sancho made a great header on Ecuador's corner, it was just that Faker FC's Edward Hajto managed to reach the ball for a save. 8 minutes into the match, Faker FC's goal looked a bit too open when Luis Andino came free, but Edward Hajto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Edward Hajto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Zorita, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Milosz Drzewucki, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Faker FC's Edward Hajto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 21st minute of play. In the 26th minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edward Hajto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 29 minutes into the match, Faker FC's goal looked a bit too open when Agustín Saelices came free, but Edward Hajto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Edward Hajto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Daniel Zorita in the 32nd minute of the match. The supporters of Faker FC booed when Ecuador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Daniel Zorita didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Milosz Drzewucki in the 43rd minute of play forced Ecuador's goalkeeper Julio Vera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Edward Hajto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 45th minute of play. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Daniel Zorita was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd minute Milosz Drzewucki shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Edward Hajto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Sancho in the 54th minute of play. In the 56th match minute, Faker FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dariusz Dombrowski to maneuver through the defense. 57 minutes into the match, Faker FC's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but Edward Hajto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 59 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Milosz Drzewucki came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Maciej Cichocki recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 72nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Daniel Zorita took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 76th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Edward Hajto. Faker FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. A collision led to Ecuador getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Luis Andino hit a great ball. With a little luck, Faker FC's Edward Hajto got control of the ball when Cristian Sancho tried to sneak it across the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Maciej Cichocki in the 91st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Julio Vera saved Ecuador from getting behind. Camilo Gisbert was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 93 minutes into the match. The Faker FC support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
