Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Venezuela's Tomas Illescas started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 4th minute, Guillermo Mariano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Marin Ciprian's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jonathan Ferrant read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 5th minute of play. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal in the 8th minute to try and stop a shot by Alianza FC's Marin Ciprian. But to his dismay, Marin Ciprian quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. 26 minutes into the match, Alianza FC's Marin Ciprian sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jonathan Ferrant narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 27 minutes into the game, Marin Ciprian recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Jonathan Ferrant. Marin Ciprian showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Marin Ciprian got free with Jonathan Ferrant in the 32nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Alianza FC were awarded a corner in the 33th minute after Venezuela's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Anselmo Greña took the corner. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Venezuela's goalie and right to Yiyo Cianca. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Venezuela's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal.

The throw-in from Guillermo Mariano in the 51st minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Alianza FC's Benigno Goya. Marin Ciprian took the ball and in the 52 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. After 57 minutes of play, Alianza FC's Marin Ciprian made it 5-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jonathan Ferrant was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 69th minute, Marin Ciprian got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 72nd minute, César Domingues ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jonathan Ferrant was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-0. Jonathan Ferrant didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Leopoldo Aimar went, in the 82nd minute, to the upper right corner, 8-0 was the resulting score. César Domingues took the ball and in the 85 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 9-0. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from César Domingues, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 90 minutes play. Rigoberto Mina hit a great ball. In the 91st minute, César Domingues ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jonathan Ferrant was frozen by the shot and now it was 10-0. When the referee ended the match the Alianza FC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
