Spectators: 42 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Venezuela's Tomas Illescas got a good chance for a goal in the 7th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Venezuela's zone, Ciprian Caba stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jonathan Ferrant came out of the goal and Ciprian Caba tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Alex Chicote got a free kick in the 16th minute. Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Donald Tusk, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. Patricio Costa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cisco Rubial having to interfere. A collision led to Venezuela getting a freekick after 23 minutes play. Jonathan Venegas hit a great ball. In the 28th minute Tomas Illescas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cisco Rubial saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 33rdth minute of the game Tomas Illescas who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but AC Ony's Cisco Rubial was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Ciprian Caba fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonathan Ferrant having to interfere. Jonathan Ferrant made an important save on a dangerous shot by Donald Tusk in the 39th minute. Tomas Illescas's late challenge caught a AC Ony's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tomas Illescas was the one to do the kick off. When Pompiliu Traian came up free with the goalie in the 51st minute, the AC Ony fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Pompiliu Traian couldn't finish the play. 55 minutes into the match, Donald Tusk notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant. Jonathan Ferrant was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 59 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Sven-Erik Hermansson came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of AC Ony booed when Venezuela was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jose Correa didn't get a good kick on the ball. 69 minutes into the match, Venezuela's goal looked a bit too open when Ciprian Caba came free, but Jonathan Ferrant reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cisco Rubial made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tomas Illescas in the 83rd minute. 93 minutes into the game, Patricio Costa was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Venezuela's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave AC Ony the free kick. Patricio Costa hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
