Menchu FC were awarded a corner in the 90th minute after Venezuela's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Lucas Martínez Quarta took the corner. It was a well-played corner which Silverio Sergi managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abdoulay Doucouré in the 93rd minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Menchu FC were awarded a corner in the 94th minute after Venezuela's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Lucas Martínez Quarta took the corner. Menchu FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
