In the 13th minute Joel Gaona shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bartosz Komanski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Joel Gaona in the 18th minute of play forced Yara Poland's goalkeeper Bartosz Komanski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 19th minute Ziemowit Borcz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Lacasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 21 minutes into the match, Yara Poland's goal looked a bit too open when Joel Gaona came free, but Bartosz Komanski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 22nd minute Jaroslaw Kaczynski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Lacasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 24th minute, Lautaro Mancebo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Mexico's supporters rose to their feet, but Lautaro Mancebo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bartosz Komanski breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Joel Gaona, 29 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Alberto Tafalla received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Joel Gaona took the ball and in the 34 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Bartosz Komanski. Bartosz Komanski dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Felix Fanøe's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Dante Lacasa firmly grabbed it by the left post. Zula Smuskiewicz kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. Yara Poland's Bartosz Komanski played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lautaro Mancebo in the 45th minute of play. Dante Lacasa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ziemowit Borcz in the 46th minute of play. 47 minutes into the match, Joel Gaona had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Bartosz Komanski. Yara Poland's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Joel Gaona was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-2. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ziemowit Borcz made a kick off. After 53 minutes, Joel Gaona made it 1-3 with a short kick to the right side. Yara Poland's Bartosz Komanski tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Yara Poland's Bartosz Komanski proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 55th minute of the match, managed to save Yara Poland from getting a goal against them. Yara Poland's defense didn't have a chance, in the 55th minute, when Lautaro Mancebo scored to the left of an out of position Bartosz Komanski, making the score, 1-4. Bartosz Komanski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joel Gaona, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. Bartosz Komanski made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lautaro Mancebo in the 71st minute. After 76 played minutes Mexico got a freekick which was hit by Joel Gaona. After 79 minutes Yara Poland's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Joel Gaona who took care of the corner kick. The corner led Mexico's Luca Rouco to fire away a dangerous shot which Bartosz Komanski despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. If Lautaro Mancebo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dante Lacasa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Felix Fanøe, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice moves Lautaro Mancebo could shoot a difficult shot in the 84th minute, which Bartosz Komanski however easily saved by the left post. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Felix Fanøe in the 87th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dante Lacasa saved Mexico from getting behind. In the 91st minute of the match, Joel Gaona tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Bartosz Komanski saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Mexico's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Joel Gaona in the 92nd minute. The corner led to Mexico's Alberto Tafalla getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. A collision led to Yara Poland getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Zula Smuskiewicz hit a great ball. In the 97th minute, Joel Gaona reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Bartosz Komanski. The goal made the score 1-5. The Yara Poland supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Mexico's performance. The match ended with a win for Mexico.
