Spectators: 39 (Terracing: 30, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Eduardo Quinito got the match started through his kick off. 3 minutes into the game, Jonas Montel was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. La luz del Lider ❤'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ecuador the free kick. In the 3rd minute, Jonas Montel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 6th minute, Daniel Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ecuador's supporters rose to their feet, but Daniel Zorita was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bruno Baumar breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ecuador's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Daniel Zorita in the 9th minute. The corner led Ecuador's Agustín Saelices to fire away a dangerous shot which Bruno Baumar despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Eduardo Quinito might have been able to make a better finish in the 16th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Julio Vera. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Eduardo Quinito ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 18th minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bruno Baumar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 23 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Eduardo Quinito came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 23 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Cristian Sancho. Cristian Sancho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bruno Baumar having to interfere. Daniel Zorita took the ball and in the 30 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Bruno Baumar. Bruno Baumar dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. In the 37th minute Cristian Sancho shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bruno Baumar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Eduardo Quinito in the 38th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Julio Vera saved Ecuador from getting behind. A collision led to Ecuador getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Cristian Sancho hit a great ball. Eduardo Quinito's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 40thth minute, Julio Vera skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. A nice corner shot did that Eduardo Quinito got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Julio Vera quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After 42 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Antonio Arias. After the first half Ecuador were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Daniel Zorita to make the kick off. Daniel Zorita sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Daniel Zorita could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 55th minute of the match, but Bruno Baumar made a huge save. After a defensive mix-up in La luz del Lider ❤'s zone, Luis Andino stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Bruno Baumar came out of the goal and Luis Andino tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. La luz del Lider ❤ made a substitution. Khaldoun Knorr replaced Eduardo Quinito. In the 73rd minute of the match La luz del Lider ❤ got a corner. Ecuador's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Celedonio Nayely ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Ecuador's goalie and right to Aristides Abadia. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Ecuador's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. After 75 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Daniel Zorita. Camilo Gisbert made in the 78th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Luis Andino immediately put the ball in play. After a rather tough play, La luz del Lider ❤'s Aristides Abadia got a free kick in the 79th minute. The long shot by Daniel Zorita in the 80th minute really tested Bruno Baumar's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. 83 minutes into the game, Claudio Salomone was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. La luz del Lider ❤'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ecuador the free kick. Claudio Salomone kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. After 84 played minutes Ecuador got a freekick which was hit by Camilo Gisbert. After a rather tough play, Ecuador's Felix Montes got a free kick in the 89th minute. In the 93rd minute Khaldoun Knorr shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julio Vera saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. La luz del Lider ❤'s Celedonio Nayely was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Julio Vera in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Ecuador played a much better game than La luz del Lider ❤ and deserved their victory. The La luz del Lider ❤ players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
