In the 26th minute, Felix Luque hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 28 minutes into the match, TunaFC's goal looked a bit too open when Alberto Tafalla came free, but Sezgin Ulutaş reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sezgin Ulutaş showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lautaro Mancebo, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. Alberto Tafalla fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sezgin Ulutaş having to interfere. In the 35th minute, Lautaro Mancebo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Mexico fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Sezgin Ulutaş showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joel Gaona, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. Uche Okechukwu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 41st minute of the match, but Dante Lacasa made a huge save. Ortzi Calzado might have been able to make a better finish in the 44th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Dante Lacasa. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ortzi Calzado ran back to his position shaking his head. After 47 played minutes Mexico got a freekick which was hit by Lautaro Mancebo.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ortzi Calzado made a kick off. With an all-out effort, Mexico's Sezgin Ulutaş threw himself towards the right post 52 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Joel Gaona, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Mexico were awarded a corner in the 61th minute after TunaFC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Joel Gaona took the corner. The corner led Mexico's Joel Gaona to fire away a dangerous shot which Sezgin Ulutaş despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 64th minute Uche Okechukwu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dante Lacasa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lautaro Mancebo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sezgin Ulutaş having to interfere. Sezgin Ulutaş showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joel Gaona in the 70th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Lautaro Mancebo got free with Sezgin Ulutaş in the 83rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Pavel Cheptene kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. Lautaro Mancebo in the 88thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Sezgin Ulutaş, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Pieter-Jan Anteunis kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. 93 minutes into the match, Min Alacuart had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Dante Lacasa. Mexico's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Min Alacuart was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Mexico's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
