Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Chico de Sousa took the kick off in the first half of the match. Chico de Sousa could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 3rd minute of the match, but Pedro Manzanares made a huge save. In the 4th minute, Chico de Sousa left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Jovens Democratas MZC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. After 6 played minutes Jovens Democratas MZC got a freekick which was hit by Ruy de Brito. In the 7th minute Axel Montenegro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dalmo Saldanha saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dalmo Saldanha took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abram Sarmiento, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dalmo Saldanha showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Abram Sarmiento in the 9th minute of the match. Jovens Democratas MZC's Dalmo Saldanha played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Abram Sarmiento in the 16th minute of play. Pedro Manzanares made a fantastic save in the 19th minute, when Xu Li Sang sent off a good shot on target. The crowd rose to their feet as Jovens Democratas MZC's Xu Li Sang slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Pedro Manzanares. That made the score 2-0 after 19 minutes of play. Antonio Indiano made in the 23rd minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Kevin Mastache. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by David Puyol during the 25th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. David Puyol kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. In the 28th minute, Jovens Democratas MZC's Xu Li Sang dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 3-0. Dalmo Saldanha took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abram Sarmiento, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 32nd minute of the match Colombia got a corner. Jovens Democratas MZC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Axel Montenegro ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led Colombia's Santino Seco to fire away a dangerous shot which Dalmo Saldanha despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 37th minute Axel Montenegro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dalmo Saldanha saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Colombia booed when Jovens Democratas MZC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Leonardo Guerra didn't get a good kick on the ball. Luis Cazalla was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. 44 minutes into the game, Kevin Mastache threw the ball into play from the sideline. Jovens Democratas MZC's David Puyol quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. In the 45th minute, Jovens Democratas MZC's Chico de Sousa ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Pedro Manzanares. Pedro Manzanares yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 4-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-0.

The wind increased when Abram Sarmiento made the kick off in the second half. Colombia were awarded a corner in the 52th minute after Jovens Democratas MZC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Axel Montenegro took the corner. The corner ended in Axel Montenegro almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Jovens Democratas MZC's Dalmo Saldanha did a great save. If Axel Montenegro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. With a little luck, Jovens Democratas MZC's Dalmo Saldanha got control of the ball when Axel Montenegro tried to sneak it across the goal line. Pedro Manzanares took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ruy de Brito, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dalmo Saldanha showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Abram Sarmiento, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. Jovens Democratas MZC made a substitution. Marco van Basten replaced Durval de Queirós. Colombia's Abram Secada was substituted for Axel Montenegro. In the 73rd minute Jovens Democratas MZC were awarded a corner. Ruy de Brito went to the cornerflag to take it. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ignacio Mastache in the 76th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dalmo Saldanha saved Jovens Democratas MZC from getting behind. Chico de Sousa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pedro Manzanares having to interfere. 80 minutes into the match, Jovens Democratas MZC's goal looked a bit too open when Abram Secada came free, but Dalmo Saldanha reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Pedro Manzanares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dobromir Zagrodny in the 82nd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Chico de Sousa in the 83rd minute of play forced Colombia's goalkeeper Pedro Manzanares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pedro Manzanares didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Marco van Basten went, in the 84th minute, to the upper right corner, 6-1 was the resulting score. Abram Secada's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 92ndth minute, Dalmo Saldanha skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Colombia's Pedro Manzanares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Elano Loureiro in the 94th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Jovens Democratas MZC had won after a very even match.
