Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) In the 3rd minute, Abel Carballo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 3 minutes into the match, Costa Rica's goal looked a bit too open when Ludomil Jaraczeski came free, but Benito Sanz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Benito Sanz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Deon Chegwyn in the 6th minute of play. Ludomil Jaraczeski blasted a shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Benito Sanz having to make a save. In the 11th minute, Zbyszko Mierzejewski ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Benito Sanz was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. After some careless play in the Costa Rica defense, Ludomil Jaraczeski kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Benito Sanz. The Costa Rica fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Benito Sanz should have stopped the shot. After 21 minutes of play, KS Grocholice's Zbyszko Mierzejewski made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Benito Sanz was left in no man's land by his defense there! Walery Tamulewicz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lautaro Puig in the 24th minute of the match. In the 25th minute Costa Rica were awarded a corner. Axel Tasis went to the cornerflag to take it. Benito Sanz was a little too slow when Stanislaw Rakowicz got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 27th minute. The score was now 4-0. Benito Sanz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Deon Chegwyn, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. In the 32nd minute Deon Chegwyn shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benito Sanz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 35th match minute, KS Grocholice was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tymoteusz Bielatowicz to maneuver through the defense. When the match had gone on for 38 minutes, Deon Chegwyn took a quick shot and it went in 5-0 without a chance for Benito Sanz to make any attempt to save it. When Stanislaw Rakowicz came up free with the goalie in the 43rd minute, the KS Grocholice fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Stanislaw Rakowicz couldn't finish the play. Stanislaw Rakowicz hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 5-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Zbyszko Mierzejewski was the one to do the kick off. When Stanislaw Rakowicz came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the KS Grocholice fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Stanislaw Rakowicz couldn't finish the play. 55 minutes into the match, KS Grocholice's Ludomil Jaraczeski sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Benito Sanz narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Deon Chegwyn struck a weak shot in the 56th minute. Benito Sanz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for KS Grocholice. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ludomil Jaraczeski in the 58th minute of play forced Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The KS Grocholice fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-0. Benito Sanz made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 7-0. KS Grocholice made a substitution. Clever Odunlami replaced Deon Chegwyn. Benito Sanz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Clever Odunlami, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. KS Grocholice's Patryk Patora was substituted for Stanislaw Rakowicz. An unexpectedly hard shot by Clever Odunlami in the 79th minute of play forced Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 80 minutes into the match, KS Grocholice's goal looked a bit too open when Eliseo Noboa came free, but Walery Tamulewicz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Benito Sanz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Clever Odunlami in the 87th minute of play. Benito Sanz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zbyszko Mierzejewski in the 88th minute of the match. In the 89th minute, Ludomil Jaraczeski left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The KS Grocholice fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 8-0. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. KS Grocholice had played much better football throughout.
