Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Daniel Zorita kicked off to start the match. Marcos Akerman took the ball and in the 4 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Julio Vera. Julio Vera dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. When the match clock showed 8 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Daniel Zorita sped through Obrero Barquisimeto's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Tifo Marinović. In the 15th minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tifo Marinović saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tifo Marinović showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Zorita, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. After 18 minutes of play, Ecuador's Daniel Zorita made it 1-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tifo Marinović was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Zorita in the 21st minute of play forced Obrero Barquisimeto's goalkeeper Tifo Marinović to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tifo Marinović made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Zorita in the 24th minute of play. Obrero Barquisimeto's Tifo Marinović played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Zorita in the 27th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Sancho in the 30th minute of play forced Obrero Barquisimeto's goalkeeper Tifo Marinović to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tifo Marinović took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Sancho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Ecuador's Cristian Sancho in the 36th minute got a chance for a shot 36th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Obrero Barquisimeto's goalie prevented a goal. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Marcos Akerman to make the kick off. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcos Akerman in the 51st minute of play. Obrero Barquisimeto's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Feo Cadorniga in the 52nd minute. The goalkeeper smacked the ball away after a great corner, but Otilio Galindez advanced and headed the ball into goal, 2-3 in the 53rd minute. With a little luck, Obrero Barquisimeto's Tifo Marinović got control of the ball when Daniel Zorita tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 65th minute Obrero Barquisimeto were awarded a corner. Feo Cadorniga went to the cornerflag to take it. At last the ball reached Cordera Pardaves at the corner, ending with a kick to difficult to stop for the goalkeeper of Ecuador. 3-3. The supporters of Obrero Barquisimeto booed when Ecuador was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Felix Montenegro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tifo Marinović was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Daniel Zorita showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 3-4 in the 75 minute of play. In the 83rdth minute of the game Marcos Akerman who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ecuador's Julio Vera was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Tifo Marinović came out and tried to block the shot, but Daniel Zorita slotted it home off the left post making it 3-5 in the 90th minute. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ecuador's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
