The audience thought a goal was coming when Olli Fiedler got free with Jax Williamson in the 47th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Olli Fiedler was the one to do the kick off. 52 minutes in the game Rohan Watson did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Koby Wright. Koby Wright fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Robert Davison having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Canada's Richard Mccarthy slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Robert Davison. That made the score 1-1 after 66 minutes of play. Canada's Prince Anderson was substituted for Carter George. Jan Dixon struck a weak shot in the 71st minute. Robert Davison didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Canada. After some careless play in the Canada defense, Martins Palermo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jax Williamson. The Canada fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jax Williamson should have stopped the shot. 77 minutes into the match, Sportivo Luan Toro's goal looked a bit too open when Jan Dixon came free, but Robert Davison reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Robert Davison made a fantastic save in the 80th minute, when Jan Dixon sent off a good shot on target. 84 minutes into the match, Martins Palermo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jax Williamson. Canada's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Martins Palermo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. Robert Davison took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Richard Mccarthy, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Tiburcio Tabor hit a great freekick 91 minutes into the match. Canada's Richard Mccarthy managed to work through Sportivo Luan Toro's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Richard Mccarthy dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Filip Edwards in the 95th minute of play forced Sportivo Luan Toro's goalkeeper Robert Davison to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Sportivo Luan Toro fans cheered their team off the field, for while Canada had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
