In the 6th minute of the match Ecuador got a corner. KKS Czuwaj Przemyśl's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Daniel Zorita ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on Ecuador's corner Luis Andino fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Waldemar Gizynski quite easily take care of the ball. Daniel Zorita received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Waldemar Gizynski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Waldemar Gizynski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cristian Sancho, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jaroslaw Motowski in the 18th minute of play. After having played for 22 minutes, Daniel Zorita managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ecuador's supporters crossed their fingers, but Daniel Zorita was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jaroslaw Motowski struck a weak shot in the 28th minute. Julio Vera didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for KKS Czuwaj Przemyśl. After some careless play in the KKS Czuwaj Przemyśl defense, Cristian Sancho kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Waldemar Gizynski. The KKS Czuwaj Przemyśl fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Waldemar Gizynski should have stopped the shot. If Daniel Zorita had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd rose to their feet as Bernard Sienkiewicz kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Julio Vera. That made the score 1-1 in the 40 minute of play. 44 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Jaroslaw Motowski came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Bernard Sienkiewicz stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Cristian Sancho blasted a shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Waldemar Gizynski having to make a save. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. KKS Czuwaj Przemyśl's Waldemar Gizynski proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 59th minute of the match, managed to save KKS Czuwaj Przemyśl from getting a goal against them. The crowd rose to their feet as Ecuador's Daniel Zorita slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Waldemar Gizynski. That made the score 1-2 after 81 minutes of play. Julio Vera took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bernard Sienkiewicz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ecuador played a much better game than KKS Czuwaj Przemyśl and deserved their victory. The KKS Czuwaj Przemyśl players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
