Laureano Guipuzkoa made in the 12th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Damazy Turok. 13 minutes into the game, Karol Biskupiak was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Zagłębie Dąbrowskie's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Peru the free kick. A collision led to Zagłębie Dąbrowskie getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Karol Biskupiak hit a great ball. In the 16th minute the ball was on its way in behind Zagłębie Dąbrowskie's goalkeeper Fabian Arendarski, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Rolando Noboa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from István Hoffman in the 19th minute of the match. If Milagros Fraga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Peru's Rolando Noboa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 24th minute of the match, managed to save Peru from getting a goal against them. In the 25th minute, Luz Tejedor left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Peru fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 32nd minute, Luz Tejedor managed to get in a good position for a shot. Peru's supporters rose to their feet, but Luz Tejedor was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fabian Arendarski breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 37th minute Julian Murillo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fabian Arendarski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rolando Noboa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ömür Seyfeddin in the 39th minute. A sloppy throw-in by Laureano Guipuzkoa in the 42nd minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Peru's Eliseo Mina. Eliseo Mina received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Fabian Arendarski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

53 minutes in the game Laureano Guipuzkoa did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Ömür Seyfeddin. Fabian Arendarski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Julian Murillo in the 54th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Julian Murillo in the 55th minute of play forced Zagłębie Dąbrowskie's goalkeeper Fabian Arendarski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rolando Noboa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ömür Seyfeddin in the 60th minute of play. Fabian Arendarski was out of position in the 64 minute of play, and Julian Murillo capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Julian Murillo really showed his touch with that goal: 0-2. Rolando Noboa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Karol Biskupiak in the 71st minute of play. Zagłębie Dąbrowskie's Wincent Polkoski was substituted for Damazy Turok. Zagłębie Dąbrowskie made a substitution. Duran Mukerrem replaced Karol Biskupiak. Laureano Guipuzkoa made in the 73rd minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Wincent Polkoski. Rolando Noboa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roman Kon, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. 78 minutes into the match, Zagłębie Dąbrowskie's goal looked a bit too open when Eliseo Mina came free, but Fabian Arendarski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 79 minutes Zagłębie Dąbrowskie's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Luz Tejedor who took care of the corner kick. The corner led Peru's Eliseo Mina to fire away a dangerous shot which Fabian Arendarski despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Julian Murillo in the 82nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fabian Arendarski saved Zagłębie Dąbrowskie from getting behind. In the 84th minute, Peru's Julian Murillo dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-3. Peru's Eliseo Alcocer was substituted for Moises Gayoso. Peru made a substitution. Antonio Tenorio replaced Luz Tejedor. Eliseo Mina fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fabian Arendarski having to interfere. 93 minutes into the match, Peru's goal looked a bit too open when Duran Mukerrem came free, but Rolando Noboa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Zagłębie Dąbrowskie supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Peru's performance. The match ended with a win for Peru.
