In the 19thth minute of the game Axel Montenegro who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Acatar's Diamantino Lobo was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When the match had gone on for 23 minutes, Ioan Hârlab took a quick shot and it went in 2-0 without a chance for Pedro Manzanares to make any attempt to save it. After having played for 26 minutes, Santino Seco managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Colombia's supporters crossed their fingers, but Santino Seco was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 33 minutes into the match, FC Acatar's goal looked a bit too open when Axel Montenegro came free, but Diamantino Lobo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 35th minute Axel Montenegro shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Diamantino Lobo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Pedro Manzanares showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Andrei Alexandrescu, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. Pedro Manzanares made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ioan Hârlab in the 44th minute. The Colombia fans' excitement grew in the 45th match minute when Colombia's Axel Montenegro looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Abram Sarmiento was the one to do the kick off. Silvio Navia kicked well hit freekick during the 52nd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Axel Montenegro in the 53rd minute of play forced FC Acatar's goalkeeper Diamantino Lobo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Ioan Hârlab had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 56 minutes of play, Colombia's Abram Sarmiento made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Diamantino Lobo was left in no man's land by his defense there! Diamantino Lobo made a fantastic save in the 63rd minute, when Axel Montenegro sent off a good shot on target. Andrei Alexandrescu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pedro Manzanares having to interfere. A collision led to FC Acatar getting a freekick after 68 minutes play. Emanuel Doinaș hit a great ball. Abram Secada sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Diamantino Lobo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Abram Secada in the 74th minute. In the 83rd match minute, FC Acatar was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ştefan Grama to maneuver through the defense. Pedro Manzanares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ioan Hârlab in the 87th minute of play. Aureliusz Kon hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. Diamantino Lobo was out of position in the 95 minute of play, and Joshua Garrido capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Joshua Garrido really showed his touch with that goal: 2-3.
