MZ Rapid's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. In the 8th match minute, Jamaica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kordal Duff to maneuver through the defense. In the 16th minute, Petru Huștea reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Demonde Jacobson. The goal made the score 1-0. In the 19th minute, Romeo Chelaru left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The MZ Rapid fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. Wayan Freeman kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. Jamaica's Demonde Jacobson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Petru Huștea in the 25th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in MZ Rapid's zone, Finlay Stair stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ciprian Uncescu came out of the goal and Finlay Stair tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Finlay Stair sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jarell Hill's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ciprian Uncescu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 30th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Petru Huștea in the 34th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Demonde Jacobson saved Jamaica from getting behind. Jamaica's Demonde Jacobson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Grigore Eftimescu in the 35th minute of play. In the 36th minute, Romeo Chelaru left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The ball had pretty good speed, but Demonde Jacobson firmly grabbed it by the left post. Karlus Waugh sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Finlay Stair made a kick off. After 52 played minutes MZ Rapid got a freekick which was hit by Mihnea Grigoriu. In the 55th minute of the match Jamaica got a corner. MZ Rapid's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Finlay Stair ran over to the corner to take the kick. Finlay Stair made a great header on Jamaica's corner, it was just that MZ Rapid's Ciprian Uncescu managed to reach the ball for a save. The supporters of Jamaica booed when MZ Rapid was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marc Wagner didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 57th minute of the match, Karlus Waugh tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Ciprian Uncescu saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Demonde Jacobson didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Grigore Eftimescu went, in the 61st minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. Jamaica's Demonde Jacobson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Petru Huștea in the 67th minute of play. Grigore Eftimescu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Demonde Jacobson having to interfere. Demonde Jacobson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Demonde Jacobson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Romeo Chelaru in the 85th minute of play. The Jamaica fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Demonde Jacobson should have stopped the shot. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. MZ Rapid had played much better football throughout.
