The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 19th minute, Julian Murillo made a precise shot to the right of Boleslaw Ruszczyk. Victoria Przyborów's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. 22 minutes into the match, Peru's goalkeeper Rolando Noboa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Semavi Polat. Semavi Polat's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rolando Noboa read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 24th minute of play. Semavi Polat sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 31 minutes of play, Victoria Przyborów's Semavi Polat made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rolando Noboa was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Luz Tejedor in the 35th minute of play forced Victoria Przyborów's goalkeeper Boleslaw Ruszczyk to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rolando Noboa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Semavi Polat, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. Boleslaw Ruszczyk took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eliseo Mina, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 49 minutes had been played when some careless play by Victoria Przyborów's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Luz Tejedor was slow to take the kick. During this time Peru's players had a chance to rest. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Through an outstanding action, after 56 minutes, Boleslaw Ruszczyk successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. An unexpected shot in the 63rd minute by Milagros Fraga got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
