An unexpectedly hard shot by 钱军青 in the 89th minute of play forced Paraguay's goalkeeper Jacobo Nores to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 92 minutes into the match, 四川攀枝花掠夺者联队's 王珂景 sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jacobo Nores narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Hector Covarrubias hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match. The 四川攀枝花掠夺者联队 fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Paraguay were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
