Sancar Aktemur came out of the goal and Tomas Illescas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The Venezuela fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jonathan Ferrant should have stopped the shot. Cihangir Başkurt hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. If Patricio Costa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Anıl Berk Acemoğlu lost his temper 29 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In a very dangerous position, a player in GeNÇ ÇoTaNaKLaR fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 29th minute. Penalty! 31 minutes into the game, Venezuela's Tomas Illescas nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Sancar Aktemur made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. GeNÇ ÇoTaNaKLaR's Ibrahim Kutluay pulled a muscle in his leg after 37 minutes and couldn't finish the game. GeNÇ ÇoTaNaKLaR's Onur Ali Mirkelam was substituted for Ibrahim Kutluay. After 39 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Jose Correa. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zeynel Atabek in the 40th minute of play. Jonathan Ferrant didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Zeynel Atabek went, in the 40th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zeynel Atabek in the 45th minute of play.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Zeynel Atabek stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the match, Venezuela's Tomas Illescas sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Sancar Aktemur narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 55 played minutes GeNÇ ÇoTaNaKLaR got a freekick which was hit by Cihangir Başkurt. Alex Chicote kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. Sancar Aktemur showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tomas Illescas, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. Alex Chicote charged in rather forcefully in the 72nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alex Chicote the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zeynel Atabek in the 74th minute of play. Jonathan Ferrant took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zeynel Atabek, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice moves Tomas Illescas could shoot a difficult shot in the 80th minute, which Sancar Aktemur however easily saved by the left post. In the 88th minute, Cihangir Başkurt hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. For all the effort they put into the match, the Venezuela players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for GeNÇ ÇoTaNaKLaR.
