Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Daniel Zorita made the kick off and thus started the match. 3 minutes into the match, Sten Melberg notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Ecuador's Julio Vera. Julio Vera was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Sten Melberg sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 5 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Sten Melberg came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 7th minute Daniel Zorita shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but George Kristiansson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sten Melberg in the 10th minute of play. Sten Melberg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 12th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Cristian Sancho recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 15th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Elliot Kellbom sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. George Kristiansson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Daniel Zorita, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. In the 22nd minute, Daniel Zorita made a precise shot to the right of George Kristiansson. Di Röe's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Felix Montes lost his temper 26 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Ecuador fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 26th minute. Penalty! Julio Vera had in the 27thth minute some difficulties stopping Sten Melberg's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. If Sten Melberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sten Melberg in the 32nd minute of play. 37 minutes into the match, Di Röe's goal looked a bit too open when Luis Andino came free, but George Kristiansson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A nice corner shot did that Daniel Zorita got away a dangerous shot. Despite this George Kristiansson quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After 40 minutes of play, Ecuador's Agustín Saelices made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. George Kristiansson was left in no man's land by his defense there! Julio Vera didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Sten Melberg went, in the 44th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. Sten Melberg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The score stood at 2-2 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Sten Melberg made a kick off. Bedih Rafet charged in rather forcefully in the 51st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Bedih Rafet the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Ecuador booed when Di Röe was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bedih Rafet didn't get a good kick on the ball. 53 minutes into the match, Di Röe's goal looked a bit too open when Cristian Sancho came free, but George Kristiansson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sten Melberg's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Julio Vera read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 54th minute of play. Di Röe's Gerard Tan was substituted for Bengt-Rune Berg. Di Röe's Knut Engström was substituted for Elliot Kellbom. Di Röe's Arnaldo da Fonseca was substituted for Sten Melberg. After a rather tough play, Di Röe's Elliot Kellbom got a free kick in the 63rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Agustín Saelices in the 66th minute of play forced Di Röe's goalkeeper George Kristiansson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 71 played minutes Di Röe got a freekick which was hit by Bedih Rafet. 73 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Arnaldo da Fonseca came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cristian Sancho got free with George Kristiansson in the 86th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a little luck, Di Röe's George Kristiansson got control of the ball when Cristian Sancho tried to sneak it across the goal line. Cristian Sancho scored 3-5 in the 95th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of George Kristiansson, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The Di Röe fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Ecuador were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
