La gloriosa Acade's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Mitxaut Resco ran over to the corner to take the kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lizer Cordal in the 44th minute of play forced La gloriosa Acade's goalkeeper Joost Kindermans to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 46 minutes into the match, La gloriosa Acade's goal looked a bit too open when Lizer Cordal came free, but Joost Kindermans reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Eduardo Pires made a kick off. Leonid Polovkov struck a weak shot in the 50th minute. Epifanio Gabrio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for La gloriosa Acade. La gloriosa Acade's Joost Kindermans played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lizer Cordal in the 62nd minute of play. Vicente Bertran could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 66th minute of the match, but Epifanio Gabrio made a huge save. After a rather tough play, La gloriosa Acade's Patricio Seme got a free kick in the 91st minute. Penuel Football Club's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Victor Amato in the 94th minute.
