The throw-in from Zachariasz Barys in the 6th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Chile's Francisco Carballar. After 6 played minutes Chile got a freekick which was hit by Jose Manzanedo. Chile's Julio Aguayo was substituted for Mariano Lacasa. In the 11th match minute, B&B Jelenia Góra was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Teofil Paprotny to maneuver through the defense. 12 minutes into the match, Chile's Orlando Casaus sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gilbert Kordalewski narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 13th minute of the match Chile got a corner. B&B Jelenia Góra's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Guillermo Fontirroig ran over to the corner to take the kick. After a defensive mix-up in B&B Jelenia Góra's zone, Julio Aguayo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gilbert Kordalewski came out of the goal and Julio Aguayo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Arrigo Trinca had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 16 minutes into the match, Chile's goal looked a bit too open when Arrigo Trinca came free, but Thiago Pliego reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 22ndth minute of the game Arrigo Trinca who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Chile's Thiago Pliego was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After having played for 23 minutes, Arrigo Trinca managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. B&B Jelenia Góra's supporters crossed their fingers, but Arrigo Trinca was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Julio Aguayo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gilbert Kordalewski read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 28th minute of play. A well placed Arrigo Trinca short distance shot in the 30th minute ended with a hard ball which without a chance for the goalkeeper went staright up into the goalkeepers left cross. In the 36th minute the ball was on its way in behind Chile's goalkeeper Thiago Pliego, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 37 minutes Chile's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Zachariasz Barys who took care of the corner kick. The corner led B&B Jelenia Góra's Zachariasz Barys to fire away a dangerous shot which Thiago Pliego despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 39th minute Arrigo Trinca shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thiago Pliego saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Julio Aguayo took the ball and in the 40 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gilbert Kordalewski. Gilbert Kordalewski dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. 2-2 became the score in the 43rd minute when Wincent Szotek elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.
The wind increased when Arrigo Trinca made the kick off in the second half. Julio Aguayo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gilbert Kordalewski read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 53rd minute of play. After 55 played minutes Chile got a freekick which was hit by Francisco Carballar. Thiago Pliego made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arrigo Trinca in the 58th minute of play. In the 60th minute, Julio Aguayo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 63 minutes into the match, B&B Jelenia Góra's goalkeeper Gilbert Kordalewski had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Julio Aguayo. Gilbert Kordalewski made a fantastic save in the 67th minute, when Julio Aguayo sent off a good shot on target. With a little luck, B&B Jelenia Góra's Gilbert Kordalewski got control of the ball when Julio Aguayo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Chile were awarded a corner in the 73th minute after B&B Jelenia Góra's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Guillermo Fontirroig took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Guillermo Fontirroig got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Gilbert Kordalewski quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 74th minute, Jose Manzanedo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gilbert Kordalewski took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Julio Aguayo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Arrigo Trinca received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Thiago Pliego tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in B&B Jelenia Góra's zone, Julio Aguayo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gilbert Kordalewski came out of the goal and Julio Aguayo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Julio Aguayo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gilbert Kordalewski read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 93rd minute of play. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
