Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Conny Josefsson started the match with the kick off. With his leg Julio Vera managed to avoid a goal in the 2ndth minute, when Vilbergen Boys Club's Conny Josefsson fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Conny Josefsson in the 7th minute of play. 10 minutes into the match, Klas Josefsson notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Ecuador's Julio Vera. Julio Vera was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After taking down the ball on Ecuador's corner Daniel Zorita fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Nils Tunander quite easily take care of the ball. 18 minutes into the match, Vilbergen Boys Club's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Zorita came free, but Nils Tunander reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Julio Vera made an important save on a dangerous shot by Klas Josefsson in the 25th minute. Ecuador's Daniel Zorita got a good chance for a goal in the 27th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Osvald Mattsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the match clock showed 30 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Conny Josefsson sped through Ecuador's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Julio Vera. Nils Tunander took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Zorita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

After a rather tough play, Vilbergen Boys Club's Sven-Oskar Lundin got a free kick in the 51st minute. Julio Vera made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Klas Josefsson in the 53rd minute of play. In the 54th minute of the match Vilbergen Boys Club got a corner. Ecuador's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Egil Byström ran over to the corner to take the kick. Georg Busk kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. Nils Tunander was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 58th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Daniel Zorita. Vilbergen Boys Club's Nils Tunander proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 60th minute of the match, managed to save Vilbergen Boys Club from getting a goal against them. Nils Tunander was out of position in the 60 minute of play, and Cristian Sancho capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Cristian Sancho really showed his touch with that goal: 2-1. When Vilbergen Boys Club's Conny Josefsson in the 66th minute got a chance for a shot 66th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Ecuador's goalie prevented a goal. Cristian Sancho in the 68thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Nils Tunander, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After 69th play minutes Conny Josefsson shot 3-1, a short shot which went by Julio Vera and just under the crossbar into goal. Conny Josefsson blasted a shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Julio Vera having to make a save. If Conny Josefsson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Agustín Saelices received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Nils Tunander tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 78 minutes into the match, Ecuador's goal looked a bit too open when Conny Josefsson came free, but Julio Vera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cristian Sancho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nils Tunander having to interfere. 90 minutes into the game, Hector Hanmark was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Vilbergen Boys Club's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ecuador the free kick. After 90 played minutes Vilbergen Boys Club got a freekick which was hit by Hector Hanmark. Julio Vera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Klas Josefsson, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute.
