ISPARTASPOR U21's Michel van der Bij played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Orlando Casaus in the 15th minute of play. Joško Van Landschoot's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Thiago Pliego read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 39th minute of play. Davinson Sanchez hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match. Michel van der Bij came out of the goal in the 43rd minute to try and stop a shot by Chile's Mariano Lacasa. But to his dismay, Mariano Lacasa quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Mariano Lacasa was the one to do the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mariano Lacasa got free with Michel van der Bij in the 52nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Mariano Lacasa scored 1-3 in the 54th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Michel van der Bij, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 60th minute, Suelo De Toro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 62nd minute, Joško Van Landschoot got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Michel van der Bij made an important save on a dangerous shot by Orlando Casaus in the 67th minute. Thiago Pliego took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joško Van Landschoot, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Chile's Francisco Carballar got a free kick in the 71st minute. Francisco Carballar kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. 73 minutes into the match, Chile's goal looked a bit too open when Joško Van Landschoot came free, but Thiago Pliego reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thiago Pliego stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Omar Gelmiro's shot from short distance in the 80th minute. Thiago Pliego showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Olcay Tezkan, who was totally free with the ball in the 82nd minute. ISPARTASPOR U21 made a substitution. Mitch Batshuayi replaced Joško Van Landschoot. Michel van der Bij made a fantastic save in the 91st minute, when Mariano Lacasa sent off a good shot on target. After 92 minutes of play, ISPARTASPOR U21's Mitch Batshuayi made it 2-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Thiago Pliego was left in no man's land by his defense there!
