Spectators: 39 (Terracing: 30, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Axel Tasis made the kick off which started today's match. Lautaro Puig sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Silvinho Quintal got free with Benito Sanz in the 13th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The referee felt a red card was in order, 14 minutes into the game, when Alexander Carballo put in a rough tackle. After 15 played minutes Costa Rica got a freekick which was hit by Alexander Carballo. In the 16th minute, Rogério Barreto sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Costa Rica's Benito Sanz didn't even have to move. 17 minutes into the game, Abel Carballo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Costa Rica's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Pinheiros Capibaras FC the free kick. Jhonny Rabelo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Narciso Mendes in the 20th minute of play. Costa Rica's defense didn't have a chance, in the 22nd minute, when Narciso Mendes scored to the left of an out of position Benito Sanz, making the score, 1-0. Jhonny Rabelo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Benito Sanz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 25th minute of play. In the 28th minute Lautaro Puig shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tang Quan Yan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 30 minutes into the match, Silvinho Quintal notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Costa Rica's Benito Sanz. Benito Sanz was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Tang Quan Yan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eliseo Noboa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 41 minutes of play, Pinheiros Capibaras FC's Silvinho Quintal made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Benito Sanz was left in no man's land by his defense there! Benito Sanz made a fantastic save in the 45th minute, when Silvinho Quintal sent off a good shot on target. In the 47th minute, Eliseo Noboa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Silvinho Quintal to strike the kick off in the second half. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Silvinho Quintal in the 53rd minute of play. In the 55th minute, a hard, long distance shot from Silvinho Quintal hit the top of the crossbar and flew over the goal. Benito Sanz didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Silvinho Quintal went, in the 57th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. In the 62nd minute, Narciso Mendes made a precise shot to the right of Benito Sanz. Costa Rica's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-0. After 69 played minutes Costa Rica got a freekick which was hit by Eliseo Noboa. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Narciso Mendes in the 72nd minute of play. After 78 minutes, Silvinho Quintal made it 6-0 with a short kick to the right side. Costa Rica's Benito Sanz tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After a defensive mix-up in Costa Rica's zone, Silvinho Quintal stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Benito Sanz came out of the goal and Silvinho Quintal tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 82 played minutes Costa Rica got a freekick which was hit by Axel Tasis. After some careless play in the Costa Rica defense, Jhonny Rabelo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Benito Sanz. The Costa Rica fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Benito Sanz should have stopped the shot. Lautaro Puig recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Eliseo Noboa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Tang Quan Yan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Costa Rica's zone, Silvinho Quintal stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Benito Sanz came out of the goal and Silvinho Quintal tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 96th match minute, Costa Rica was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hugo Ferrant to maneuver through the defense. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Pinheiros Capibaras FC fully deserved thier win.
