Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Bruno Tomasso started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In the 5th minute, Daniel Zorita made a precise shot to the right of Ettore Puglielli. Juventus F.C.'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. In the 9th minute, Cristian Sancho made a precise shot to the right of Ettore Puglielli. Juventus F.C.'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Julio Vera made a fantastic save in the 12th minute, when Paolo Rossi sent off a good shot on target. Ecuador's Julio Vera played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Amerigo Cesarini in the 13th minute of play. The supporters of Ecuador booed when Juventus F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emiliano Feltrin didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 19thth minute of the game Bruno Tomasso who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ecuador's Julio Vera was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 20 minutes had been played when some careless play by Ecuador's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Anselmo De Paolis was slow to take the kick. During this time Juventus F.C.'s players had a chance to rest. Bruno Tomasso made a great header on Juventus F.C.'s corner, it was just that Ecuador's Julio Vera managed to reach the ball for a save. A well-hit corner resulted in Luis Andino heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. 30 minutes into the game, Anselmo De Paolis was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Juventus F.C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Ecuador the free kick. The Ecuador fans' excitement grew in the 34th match minute when Ecuador's Daniel Zorita looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The supporters of Ecuador booed when Juventus F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fulvio Salerni didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 40th minute, Cristian Sancho ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ettore Puglielli was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. Ettore Puglielli showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristian Sancho in the 45th minute of the match. The Juventus F.C. players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Ecuador were winning 0-4.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Daniel Zorita to make the kick off. Daniel Zoritas short, quick shot in the 51stth minute got Ettore Puglielli to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Ettore Puglielli showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Felix Montenegro, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. 57 minutes into the match, Ecuador's Cristian Sancho sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ettore Puglielli narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Daniel Zorita fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ettore Puglielli having to interfere. If Cristian Sancho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cristian Sancho received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Ettore Puglielli came out and tried to block the shot, but Cristian Sancho slotted it home off the left post making it 0-5 in the 62nd minute. Ettore Puglielli stood somewhat misplaced when Daniel Zorita came free in front of goal and shot 0-6 to the left of him in the 66 minute. Luis Andino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Ettore Puglielli tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cristian Sancho struck a weak shot in the 73rd minute. Ettore Puglielli didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ecuador. Amerigo Cesarini kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. Ettore Puglielli showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luis Andino, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. Ettore Puglielli made a fantastic save in the 80th minute, when Felix Montenegro sent off a good shot on target. After 82 played minutes Juventus F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Amerigo Cesarini. The audience thought a goal was coming when Felix Montenegro got free with Ettore Puglielli in the 83rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Juventus F.C.'s Ettore Puglielli proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 85th minute of the match, managed to save Juventus F.C. from getting a goal against them. In the 88th minute Ecuador were awarded a corner. Daniel Zorita went to the cornerflag to take it. At last the ball reached Agustín Saelices at the corner, ending with a kick to difficult to stop for the goalkeeper of Juventus F.C.. 0-7. Felix Montenegro received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Ettore Puglielli came out and tried to block the shot, but Felix Montenegro slotted it home off the left post making it 0-8 in the 93rd minute.
