The audience was convinced that Kian Natanael's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rolando Noboa was relentless in the 24th minute of the game. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Julian Murillo to make the kick off. With a little luck, FC Ruscova's Helmuth Duckadam got control of the ball when Julian Murillo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Kian Natanael in the 57th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rolando Noboa prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 62 minutes into the match, Peru's goal looked a bit too open when Umur Renan came free, but Rolando Noboa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 63 minutes into the match, FC Ruscova's Ciro Cortez sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rolando Noboa narrowly saved just below the crossbar. A collision led to FC Ruscova getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Umur Renan hit a great ball. After some careless play in the FC Ruscova defense, Rafael Gallo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Helmuth Duckadam. The FC Ruscova fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Helmuth Duckadam should have stopped the shot. Helmuth Duckadam showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rafael Gallo, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute.
