Peru's Eliseo Mina quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Waclaw Budzyn, made in the 3rd minute of the game. 4 minutes into the game, Peru's Julian Murillo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Eustacio Beliran made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. 9 minutes into the game, Julian Murillo cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Eustacio Beliran was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Rolando Noboa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nils Siöberg in the 13th minute of the match. Eustacio Beliran came out of the goal in the 18th minute to try and stop a shot by Peru's Julian Murillo. But to his dismay, Julian Murillo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. In the 20th minute Julian Murillo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eustacio Beliran saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Eustacio Beliran showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Julian Murillo, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. Valdemar Velasco kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. In the 27th minute Julian Murillo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eustacio Beliran saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 35 played minutes Peru got a freekick which was hit by Eliseo Mina. C.A.JORGOVAN's Valdemar Velasco shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 36th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Rolando Noboa but with some difficulty. When Julian Murillo came up free with the goalie in the 44th minute, the Peru fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Julian Murillo couldn't finish the play. The audience was convinced that Nils Siöberg's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rolando Noboa was relentless in the 48th minute of the game. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gonzalo Hoya made a kick off. C.A.JORGOVAN's defense didn't have a chance, in the 52nd minute, when Luz Tejedor scored to the left of an out of position Eustacio Beliran, making the score, 0-4. Rolando Noboa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nils Siöberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 61st minute of the game Waclaw Budzyn made a throw-in which Isidoro Honesto played forward. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Julian Murillo in the 62nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Eustacio Beliran prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 63rd minute Peru were awarded a corner. Luz Tejedor went to the cornerflag to take it. Julian Murillo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. C.A.JORGOVAN made a substitution. Gervasio Bermund replaced Gonzalo Hoya. C.A.JORGOVAN's Godfredo Mikeldi was substituted for Valdemar Velasco. C.A.JORGOVAN's Miguel Lope was substituted for Nils Siöberg. In the 95th minute Rafael Gallo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eustacio Beliran saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A throw-in in the 97th minute of the game was made by Waclaw Budzyn with Godfredo Mikeldi as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. In the 99th minute Rafael Gallo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Eustacio Beliran saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When the final whistle sounded Peru left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than C.A.JORGOVAN.
