Benito Sanz made a fantastic save in the 9th minute, when 沈松耀 sent off a good shot on target. 11 minutes had been played when some careless play by Costa Rica's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. 唐渊笑 was slow to take the kick. During this time ≮四川梦幻全兴≯'s players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on ≮四川梦幻全兴≯'s corner 沈松耀 fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Benito Sanz quite easily take care of the ball. After having played for 17 minutes, Eliseo Noboa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Costa Rica's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eliseo Noboa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Costa Rica's Juan Rubio got a free kick in the 37th minute. 唐渊笑 took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 38th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Benito Sanz. Costa Rica's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. With his leg Benito Sanz managed to avoid a goal in the 43rdth minute, when ≮四川梦幻全兴≯'s 张邦宁 fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when 张邦宁 stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Benito Sanz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from 张邦宁 in the 52nd minute of the match. Benito Sanz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from 张邦宁, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 潘常宇 didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Lautaro Puig went, in the 55th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-3 was the resulting score. Eliseo Noboa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without 潘常宇 having to interfere. If Eliseo Noboa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Benito Sanz took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from 张邦宁, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the Costa Rica defense, 张邦宁 kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Benito Sanz. The Costa Rica fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Benito Sanz should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by 张邦宁 in the 82nd minute of play forced Costa Rica's goalkeeper Benito Sanz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 何沙亮 hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. 86 minutes into the match, Lautaro Puig notched a goal, 2-5, to the right of ≮四川梦幻全兴≯'s 潘常宇. 潘常宇 was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When Axel Tasis fell near the penalty area in the 89th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Costa Rica's protests and gave Axel Tasis a yellow card for diving instead. After 89 played minutes Costa Rica got a freekick which was hit by Axel Tasis. After 92 minutes of play, ≮四川梦幻全兴≯'s 唐渊笑 made it 3-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Benito Sanz was left in no man's land by his defense there! Costa Rica's Benito Sanz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by 张邦宁 in the 95th minute of play. The Costa Rica players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
