Julio Chicote sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alfredo Ferrant scored 0-1 in the 41st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Bahadır Rüşti, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The wind increased when Kaan Kayaer made the kick off in the second half. Ali Nabi Hürsel charged in rather forcefully in the 54th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Eduardo Fontirroig's late challenge caught a Denizli United's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Eduardo Fontirroig helped the player get up and apologised. After 91 played minutes Bolivia got a freekick which was hit by Eduardo Fontirroig. In the 96th minute Eralp Çelikel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Camilo Freixa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Camilo Freixa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kaan Kayaer, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. There was no doubt that Denizli United were the better team. Denizli United's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
