The long shot by Oswaldo Vaz in the 26th minute really tested Lautaro Navarro's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Marquinhos Teixeira kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. FÊNIX F.C.'s manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Honduras the free kick. The supporters of Honduras booed when FÊNIX F.C. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gilberto Leite didn't get a good kick on the ball. Damian Fetor took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Edmundo Espiga, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Honduras's Esteban Carvallo got a free kick in the 40th minute. The Honduras fans' excitement grew in the 45th match minute when Honduras's Edmundo Espiga looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The FÊNIX F.C. players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Honduras were winning 0-1.

Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Edmundo Espiga in the 52nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Damian Fetor prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The FÊNIX F.C. fans' excitement grew in the 72nd match minute when FÊNIX F.C.'s Marquinhos Teixeira looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. A collision led to FÊNIX F.C. getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Gilberto Leite hit a great ball. 78 minutes into the match, Marquinhos Teixeira had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Lautaro Navarro. Honduras's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Marquinhos Teixeira was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. 85 minutes into the match, Honduras's goal looked a bit too open when Marquinhos Teixeira came free, but Lautaro Navarro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 87 minutes into the match, Gilberto Leite notched a goal, 4-1, to the right of Honduras's Lautaro Navarro. Lautaro Navarro was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Mauro Luz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 91st minute. Lautaro Navarro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. FÊNIX F.C.'s supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
