Habib Tanay ran over to the corner to take the kick. 12 minutes into the match, Ahmet Haşim Gence had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Torben Drieø. Stanovice's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ahmet Haşim Gence was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. In the 15th minute Jaroslav Trávník shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arda Baybars Raşit saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Stanovice's Torben Drieø played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ahmet Haşim Gence in the 19th minute of play. When Stanovice's Vlastimil Šturm in the 28th minute got a chance for a shot 28th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Malatyaspor's goalie prevented a goal. 32 minutes into the game, Stanovice's Jaroslav Trávník nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ahmet Haşim Gence was the one to do the kick off. In the 51st minute, Ahmet Haşim Gence ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Torben Drieø was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Arda Baybars Raşit made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jaroslav Trávník in the 54th minute. After a rather tough play, Stanovice's Jan Rott got a free kick in the 61st minute. In the 66th minute, Şaban Sarı hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 69th minute, Vlastimil Šturm reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Arda Baybars Raşit. The goal made the score 2-3. Torben Drieø showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Metehan Öktemer, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. Ahmet Haşim Gence scored 3-3 in the 80th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Torben Drieø, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 83rd minute, Vlastimil Šturm managed to get in a good position for a shot. Stanovice's supporters rose to their feet, but Vlastimil Šturm was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Arda Baybars Raşit breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When the match had gone on for 86 minutes, Vlastimil Šturm took a quick shot and it went in 3-4 without a chance for Arda Baybars Raşit to make any attempt to save it. In the 93rd minute, Malatyaspor's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Jaroslav Trávník fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Metehan Öktemer's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Torben Drieø read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 95th minute of play. When the final whistle sounded Stanovice left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Malatyaspor.
