But to his dismay, Francesco Ceccarelli quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Ned Cesario hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. In the 18th minute, Francesco Ceccarelli left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Redchiaps FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. Gilbert Woodson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Francesco Ceccarelli in the 21st minute of play. Antonio Brillante charged in rather forcefully in the 22nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Antonio Brillante the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 22nd match minute, Redchiaps FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Antonio Brillante to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, Redchiaps FC's Angelo Marsilio got control of the ball when Octavio Stahl tried to sneak it across the goal line. Angelo Marsilio was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 46th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Abdul Hatfield. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Abdul Hatfield stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Octavio Stahl sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
