Stanovice's Torben Drieø proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 8th minute of the match, managed to save Stanovice from getting a goal against them. Torben Drieø made an important save on a dangerous shot by Zé Pedro Cardoso in the 15th minute. In the 19th minute, Jan Rott hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 22 minutes, Jaroslav Trávník managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Stanovice's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jaroslav Trávník was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jaroslav Trávník recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 29 minutes into the match, Stanovice's goal looked a bit too open when Faustão Schmidt came free, but Torben Drieø reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Torben Drieø made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zé Paulo Messias in the 33rd minute of play. Zé Paulo Messias made a great header on Boizão Club do Recife's corner, it was just that Stanovice's Torben Drieø managed to reach the ball for a save. Torben Drieø made an important save on a dangerous shot by Zé Pedro Cardoso in the 35th minute. Veniamin Shashkov might have been able to make a better finish in the 38th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Torben Drieø. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Veniamin Shashkov ran back to his position shaking his head. With a little luck, Stanovice's Torben Drieø got control of the ball when Zé Paulo Messias tried to sneak it across the goal line. Zé Pedro Cardoso blasted a shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Torben Drieø having to make a save.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Zé Pedro Cardoso to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute of the match Zé Paulo Messias sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Torben Drieø skillfully saved the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by José Pedro Zanette in the 58th minute of play forced Stanovice's goalkeeper Torben Drieø to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 61st minute, Zé Pedro Cardoso left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Boizão Club do Recife fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Stanovice's Torben Drieø played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Veniamin Shashkov in the 66th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Stanovice's Jan Prchal got a free kick in the 66th minute. Torben Drieø showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zé Paulo Messias in the 71st minute of the match. Torben Drieø made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zé Paulo Messias in the 74th minute of play. Veniamin Shashkov received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Torben Drieø tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Stanovice booed when Boizão Club do Recife was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gilson Rosado didn't get a good kick on the ball. Torben Drieø came out of the goal in the 79th minute to try and stop a shot by Boizão Club do Recife's Veniamin Shashkov. But to his dismay, Veniamin Shashkov quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. In the 81st match minute, Boizão Club do Recife was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by José Pedro Zanette to maneuver through the defense. 83 minutes into the match, Stanovice's goal looked a bit too open when Zé Pedro Cardoso came free, but Torben Drieø reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
