In the 3rd minute, Francesco Ceccarelli got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 6th minute, José Pedro Zanette sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Redchiaps FC's Angelo Marsilio didn't even have to move. In the 11th minute, Arthur Messias ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Angelo Marsilio was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. In the 14th minute of the match João Vítor Bezerra shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Angelo Marsilio showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Redchiaps FC's Angelo Marsilio proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 16th minute of the match, managed to save Redchiaps FC from getting a goal against them. Zé Paulo Messias's late challenge caught a Redchiaps FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Zé Paulo Messias helped the player get up and apologised. Zé Paulo Messias hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Boizão Club do Recife's Clóvis Cabral got a free kick in the 24th minute. Redchiaps FC's Angelo Marsilio proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 26th minute of the match, managed to save Redchiaps FC from getting a goal against them. Angelo Marsilio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Zé Pedro Cardoso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 32 minutes of play, Boizão Club do Recife's Zé Pedro Cardoso made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Angelo Marsilio was left in no man's land by his defense there! A collision led to Boizão Club do Recife getting a freekick after 35 minutes play. José Pedro Zanette hit a great ball. In the 37th minute, Felice Schiavoni hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 40 played minutes Redchiaps FC got a freekick which was hit by Antonio Brillante. Ciro Antognoni charged in rather forcefully in the 42nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ciro Antognoni the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 42nd match minute, Redchiaps FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ciro Antognoni to maneuver through the defense. 44 minutes in the game José Pedro Zanette after having made a beautiful turn got a great opportunity to score and fired away a shot that went just to the left past a relieved Angelo Marsilio. A very good opportunity. Angelo Marsilio made a fantastic save in the 47th minute, when Arthur Messias sent off a good shot on target. A collision led to Redchiaps FC getting a freekick after 48 minutes play. Felice Schiavoni hit a great ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Francesco Ceccarelli to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zé Pedro Cardoso in the 54th minute of play forced Redchiaps FC's goalkeeper Angelo Marsilio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Angelo Marsilio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Arthur Messias in the 55th minute of play. In the 63rd match minute, Boizão Club do Recife was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by José Pedro Zanette to maneuver through the defense. Francesco Ceccarelli's late challenge caught a Boizão Club do Recife's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Angelo Marsilio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zé Pedro Cardoso in the 77th minute of the match. Arlindo Borges made an important save on a dangerous shot by Francesco Ceccarelli in the 78th minute. Angelo Marsilio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zé Pedro Cardoso in the 82nd minute of play. Felice Doris recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Angelo Marsilio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arthur Messias, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 94 minutes into the match, Arthur Messias notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of Redchiaps FC's Angelo Marsilio. Angelo Marsilio was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Boizão Club do Recife walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
