Gabriel Rogers hit a great ball. 3 minutes into the match, Air Nomads's goal looked a bit too open when Heriberto Fay came free, but Gilbert Woodson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match clock showed 10 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Octavio Stahl sped through FC Figari's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Donovan Overton. In the 15th minute, Merle Wilhelm hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Donovan Overton took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Octavio Stahl, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd rose to their feet as FC Figari's Heriberto Fay slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Gilbert Woodson. That made the score 1-1 after 17 minutes of play. 21 minutes into the match, FC Figari's goal looked a bit too open when Octavio Stahl came free, but Donovan Overton reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the FC Figari defense, Octavio Stahl kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Donovan Overton. The FC Figari fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Donovan Overton should have stopped the shot. After a defensive mix-up in Air Nomads's zone, Heriberto Fay stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gilbert Woodson came out of the goal and Heriberto Fay tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 37 minutes, Duane Duarte mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Figari and the Air Nomads players grew even worse after the yellow card. Abdul Hatfield placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! The audience thought a goal was coming when Merle Wilhelm got free with Gilbert Woodson in the 42nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Air Nomads's Gilbert Woodson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Heriberto Fay in the 43rd minute of play. In the 46th minute, Heriberto Fay reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Gilbert Woodson. The goal made the score 2-2. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Abdul Hatfield made a kick off. 55 minutes into the match, Air Nomads's Gabriel Rogers sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Donovan Overton narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 62 played minutes FC Figari got a freekick which was hit by George Bates. Jeff Ott sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 70th match minute, FC Figari was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by George Bates to maneuver through the defense. Gilbert Woodson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Merle Wilhelm, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jerrod Tripp kicked well hit freekick during the 73rd minute of the match. A collision led to Air Nomads getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Richie Dykes hit a great ball. After having played for 76 minutes, Ross Herman managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. FC Figari's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ross Herman was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Merle Wilhelm had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gilbert Woodson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Merle Wilhelm in the 79th minute of the match. Octavio Stahl in the 82ndth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Donovan Overton, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After 85 played minutes Air Nomads got a freekick which was hit by Rocky Calloway. With a little luck, FC Figari's Donovan Overton got control of the ball when Octavio Stahl tried to sneak it across the goal line. 91 minutes into the game, FC Figari's Merle Wilhelm nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gilbert Woodson made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-2. For all the effort they put into the match, the Air Nomads players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for FC Figari.
