Spectators: 37 (Terracing: 29, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Trampa's Abel Frichoso started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Trampa's goalie and right to John Newman. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Trampa's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. If Vince Riad had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 10th minute, Ron Sharples hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 11th minute, Virgilio Tabor sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Vicenza Wanderers's Marc Ploughman didn't even have to move. 15 minutes into the match, Uriel Lastur notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Vicenza Wanderers's Marc Ploughman. Marc Ploughman was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Vince Riad had several of the Trampa's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 18 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-1 score and a disappointed Anacleto Firme as he didn't even see the shot coming. Vicenza Wanderers's Vince Riad got a good chance for a goal in the 28th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 32nd match minute, Trampa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Uriel Lastur to maneuver through the defense. In the 34th minute, Vince Riad got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Vince Riad received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Anacleto Firme tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Anacleto Firme stood somewhat misplaced when Vince Riad came free in front of goal and shot 2-1 to the left of him in the 38 minute. After 43 played minutes Vicenza Wanderers got a freekick which was hit by John Newman. An unexpectedly hard shot by Atilano Uhin in the 45th minute of play forced Vicenza Wanderers's goalkeeper Marc Ploughman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marc Ploughman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abel Frichoso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

After 57 played minutes Trampa got a freekick which was hit by Uriel Lastur. In the 58th minute, Vince Riad made a precise shot to the right of Anacleto Firme. Trampa's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-1. After a defensive mix-up in Trampa's zone, John Newman stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Anacleto Firme came out of the goal and John Newman tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 69 minutes into the game, Ozzy Budden cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-1. Anacleto Firme was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. With a little luck, Vicenza Wanderers's Marc Ploughman got control of the ball when Jesus Telmo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Vince Riad received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Anacleto Firme tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Vince Riad's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Anacleto Firme was relentless in the 77th minute of the game. 79 minutes into the game, Phillip Leeson was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Vicenza Wanderers's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Trampa the free kick. Uriel Lastur might have been able to make a better finish in the 85th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Marc Ploughman. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Uriel Lastur ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Abel Frichoso in the 89th minute of play forced Vicenza Wanderers's goalkeeper Marc Ploughman to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Abel Frichoso in the 89th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Marc Ploughman prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Phillip Leeson kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Vicenza Wanderers fully deserved thier win.
