The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. The supporters of Villazzano booed when Hook City was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Abdelnaser Al Motaire didn't get a good kick on the ball. Emiliano Scatena took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Shaker Al Ajmi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 18 minutes, Concetto Di Massimo mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Villazzano and the Hook City players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 18th match minute, Villazzano was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Concetto Di Massimo to maneuver through the defense. 19 minutes into the match, Villazzano's goal looked a bit too open when Dhari Al Sherazi came free, but Emiliano Scatena reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mazen Al Banai came out of the goal in the 23rd minute to try and stop a shot by Villazzano's Amedeo Santovito. But to his dismay, Amedeo Santovito quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. After having played for 27 minutes, Baqer Al Najdi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hook City's supporters crossed their fingers, but Baqer Al Najdi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Mazen Al Banai showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Concetto Di Massimo in the 29th minute of the match. Shaker Al Ajmi struck a weak shot in the 30th minute. Emiliano Scatena didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Hook City. In the 31st minute, Franco Orlandi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 32nd minute, Dhari Al Sherazi made a precise shot to the right of Emiliano Scatena. Villazzano's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. With 42 minutes on the clock, Arturo Marinelli commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Villazzano fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 41st minute. Penalty! In the 43rd minute there was a penalty for Hook City. Shaker Al Ajmi stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Emiliano Scatena. 1-3.

Hook City's Dhari Al Sherazi got a good chance for a goal in the 58th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 61st minute the ball was on its way in behind Hook City's goalkeeper Mazen Al Banai, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Hook City's Mosa Bo Resley got a free kick in the 61st minute. After 64 minutes, Mosa Bo Resley mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Hook City and the Villazzano players grew even worse after the yellow card. An unexpectedly hard shot by Amedeo Santovito in the 65th minute of play forced Hook City's goalkeeper Mazen Al Banai to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Shaker Al Ajmi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With his leg Emiliano Scatena managed to avoid a goal in the 78thth minute, when Hook City's Shaker Al Ajmi fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After 79 minutes of play, Villazzano's Amedeo Santovito made it 2-5 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Mazen Al Banai was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 84th minute, Hook City's Shaker Al Ajmi ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Emiliano Scatena. Emiliano Scatena yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-6. Emiliano Scatena showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dhari Al Sherazi, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. After having played for 95 minutes, Dhari Al Sherazi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hook City's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dhari Al Sherazi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Hook City eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
