With an all-out effort, FC Figari's Anastasio Mederi threw himself towards the right post 11 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Heriberto Fay, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. SUTURA FC's Anastasio Mederi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Heriberto Fay in the 14th minute of play. SUTURA FC's Anastasio Mederi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 15th minute of the match, managed to save SUTURA FC from getting a goal against them. If Lorenzo Baleren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 20th minute the ball was on its way in behind FC Figari's goalkeeper Donovan Overton, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 22 minutes into the match, Salvador Bazil notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of FC Figari's Donovan Overton. Donovan Overton was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Lorenzo Baleren to strike the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, SUTURA FC's Bartolo Locaio got a free kick in the 51st minute. In the 52nd minute Heriberto Fay shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anastasio Mederi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Silvio Mosen hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. When Bartolo Locaio fell near the penalty area in the 55th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored SUTURA FC's protests and gave Bartolo Locaio a yellow card for diving instead. In the 55th minute, Bartolo Locaio hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Anastasio Mederi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Merle Wilhelm in the 58th minute of the match. Anastasio Mederi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Heriberto Fay in the 92nd minute of play. In the 95th minute, SUTURA FC's Domingo Argenis seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Domingo Argenis the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of SUTURA FC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Domingo Argenis had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 94th minute, one of SUTURA FC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for SUTURA FC. In the 97th minute there was a penalty for FC Figari. Ross Herman stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Anastasio Mederi. 1-2. SUTURA FC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
