In the 6th minute, Duane Duarte hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 13 minutes into the game, FC Figari's Dave Hatch nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Abdelnaser Al Motaire made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jeff Ott got free with Abdelnaser Al Motaire in the 18th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Leif Shaw hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. Donovan Overton showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sanad Shams in the 27th minute of the match. Baqer Al Najdi hit a great freekick 27 minutes into the match. In the 28th minute Dave Hatch shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Abdelnaser Al Motaire saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 29th minute, Shaker Al Ajmi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Donovan Overton was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. 33 minutes into the game, Jeff Ott cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Abdelnaser Al Motaire was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 36th minute, Heriberto Fay ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Abdelnaser Al Motaire was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-2. When FC Figari's Dave Hatch in the 38th minute got a chance for a shot 38th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Hook City's goalie prevented a goal. Heriberto Fay scored 4-2 in the 40th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Abdelnaser Al Motaire, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 43 minutes into the match, Hook City's goal looked a bit too open when Scot Carlisle came free, but Abdelnaser Al Motaire reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Hook City fans' excitement grew in the 47th match minute when Hook City's Dhari Al Sherazi looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 4-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Dave Hatch to make the kick off. After 51 played minutes Hook City got a freekick which was hit by Shaker Al Ajmi. When Mosa Bo Resley fell near the penalty area in the 53rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Hook City's protests and gave Mosa Bo Resley a yellow card for diving instead. Mosa Bo Resley kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. After 59 minutes of play Hook City's Mosa Bo Resley was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. The supporters of FC Figari booed when Hook City was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mosa Bo Resley didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 61st minute, Heriberto Fay made a precise shot to the right of Abdelnaser Al Motaire. Hook City's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-3. A collision led to Hook City getting a freekick after 66 minutes play. Dhari Al Sherazi hit a great ball. Donovan Overton didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Baqer Al Najdi went, in the 71st minute, to the upper right corner, 5-4 was the resulting score. In the 75th minute, Dhari Al Sherazi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Hook City's Abdelnaser Al Motaire played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Heriberto Fay in the 76th minute of play. Baqer Al Najdi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Donovan Overton tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 79 minutes, Scot Carlisle mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Figari and the Hook City players grew even worse after the yellow card. Scot Carlisle kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. Dhari Al Sherazi recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Baqer Al Najdi scored 5-5 in the 82nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Donovan Overton, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Abdelnaser Al Motaire didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Dave Hatch went, in the 85th minute, to the upper right corner, 6-5 was the resulting score. The crowd rose to their feet as Sanad Shams kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Donovan Overton. That made the score 6-6 in the 90 minute of play. Abdelnaser Al Motaire showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dave Hatch, who was totally free with the ball in the 93rd minute. In the 95th minute, Hook City's Dhari Al Sherazi dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 6-7. Hook City's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
