But to his dismay, Francesco Ceccarelli quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. A collision led to Redchiaps FC getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Francesco Ceccarelli hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Redchiaps FC's Felice Schiavoni got a free kick in the 9th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Sandnes FC's Jonathan Romundstad slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Angelo Marsilio. That made the score 1-2 after 10 minutes of play. The supporters of Redchiaps FC booed when Sandnes FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tore Ek didn't get a good kick on the ball. Redchiaps FC's Angelo Marsilio proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 18th minute of the match, managed to save Redchiaps FC from getting a goal against them. Angelo Marsilio was out of position in the 23 minute of play, and Jonathan Romundstad capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Jonathan Romundstad really showed his touch with that goal: 2-2. With a little luck, Redchiaps FC's Angelo Marsilio got control of the ball when Mons Herdlevær tried to sneak it across the goal line. Redchiaps FC's Angelo Marsilio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jonathan Romundstad in the 26th minute of play. After 27 played minutes Sandnes FC got a freekick which was hit by Tore Ek. Arnt Oen could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 29th minute of the match, but Angelo Marsilio made a huge save. The crowd rose to their feet as Sandnes FC's Jonathan Romundstad slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Angelo Marsilio. That made the score 3-2 after 33 minutes of play. Angelo Marsilio made a fantastic save in the 39th minute, when Mons Herdlevær sent off a good shot on target. Angelo Marsilio made an important save on a dangerous shot by Arnt Oen in the 47th minute. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-2. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Francesco Ceccarelli was the one to do the kick off. Angelo Marsilio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jonathan Romundstad in the 51st minute of play. Christer Bjørdal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Francesco Ceccarelli, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 56 minutes into the match, Redchiaps FC's goal looked a bit too open when Mons Herdlevær came free, but Angelo Marsilio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 59 minutes into the match, Redchiaps FC's goal looked a bit too open when Jonathan Romundstad came free, but Angelo Marsilio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jonathan Romundstad in the 64th minute of play forced Redchiaps FC's goalkeeper Angelo Marsilio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 67 minutes into the match, Jonathan Romundstad had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Angelo Marsilio. Redchiaps FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jonathan Romundstad was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-2. After a rather tough play, Redchiaps FC's Ciro Antognoni got a free kick in the 70th minute. 73 minutes into the game, Tore Ek was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sandnes FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Redchiaps FC the free kick. In the 75th minute, Felice Schiavoni hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Arnt Oen scored 6-2 in the 78th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Angelo Marsilio, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Angelo Marsilio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mons Herdlevær in the 80th minute of play. 82 minutes into the game, Mons Herdlevær cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 7-2. Angelo Marsilio was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 86th minute, Demetrio Orlandi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Francesco Ceccarelli succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 7-3 in the 92nd playminute. Sandnes FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
