An unexpectedly hard shot by Claudio Simeoni in the 18th minute of play forced Hook City's goalkeeper Abdelnaser Al Motaire to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Emiliano Scatena didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Hook City's Dhari Al Sherazi shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 2-2 in the ordered_time% minute. Hook City's Abdelnaser Al Motaire played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Franco Orlandi in the 27th minute of play. If Shaker Al Ajmi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 35th minute of the match, Shaker Al Ajmi tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Emiliano Scatena saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Hook City's Dhari Al Sherazi got a good chance for a goal in the 36th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 38 minutes into the match, Claudio Simeoni had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Abdelnaser Al Motaire. Hook City's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Claudio Simeoni was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-3. Dhari Al Sherazi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emiliano Scatena having to interfere. In the 42nd play minute Sanad Shams came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Emiliano Scatena. 3-3. Abdelnaser Al Motaire made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Claudio Simeoni in the 46th minute of play. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 3-3 after a close first half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Shaker Al Ajmi to make the kick off. 56 minutes into the game, Franco Orlandi recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Abdelnaser Al Motaire. Franco Orlandi showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 3-4. When Hook City's Shaker Al Ajmi in the 59th minute got a chance for a shot 59th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Ramadan Ghadhanfer kicked well hit freekick during the 66th minute of the match. Shaker Al Ajmi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emiliano Scatena having to interfere. The supporters of Hook City booed when Villazzano was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Concetto Di Massimo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Emiliano Scatena took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dhari Al Sherazi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Abdelnaser Al Motaire made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Elia Barbanti in the 72nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Elia Barbanti in the 75th minute of play forced Hook City's goalkeeper Abdelnaser Al Motaire to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dhari Al Sherazi in the 77th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Emiliano Scatena saved Villazzano from getting behind. Shaker Al Ajmi scored 5-4 in the 78th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Emiliano Scatena, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sanad Shams in the 83rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Emiliano Scatena saved Villazzano from getting behind. When Hook City's Shaker Al Ajmi in the 84th minute got a chance for a shot 84th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Villazzano's goalie prevented a goal. A collision led to Villazzano getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Franco Orlandi hit a great ball. 95 minutes into the game, Baqer Al Najdi cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 7-4. Emiliano Scatena was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Hook City had played much better football throughout.
