If André-Pierre Gignac had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Miguel Urane kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. Leonidas Barrera was out of position in the 10 minute of play, and Edgar Degas capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Edgar Degas really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Cezary Przybylo took the ball and in the 19 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jan Zorge. Jan Zorge dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. 25 minutes into the match, The Skates's goal looked a bit too open when Miguel Urane came free, but Jan Zorge reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Leonidas Barrera made an important save on a dangerous shot by Edgar Degas in the 30th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers André-Pierre Gignac in the 31st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jan Zorge saved The Skates from getting behind. 32 minutes into the game, Pablo Bermudez was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Buenaventura FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave The Skates the free kick. Pablo Bermudez kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. After having played for 33 minutes, Alex Ödmann managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. The Skates's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alex Ödmann was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Jan Zorge came out of the goal in the 36th minute to try and stop a shot by Buenaventura FC's André-Pierre Gignac. But to his dismay, André-Pierre Gignac quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-2. Jan Zorge took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from André-Pierre Gignac, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 41st minute, Ingemar Morat hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 42nd minute André-Pierre Gignac shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jan Zorge saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 45 minutes into the game, Elias Benavides was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Buenaventura FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave The Skates the free kick. When the match had been going on for 45 minutes, The Skates's Alex Ödmann got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Leonidas Barrera. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-2.
The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cheito Brandao during the 51st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Cheito Brandao hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. If Alex Ödmann had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Leonidas Barrera showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edgar Degas, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. Jan Zorge made a fantastic save in the 63rd minute, when André-Pierre Gignac sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edgar Degas in the 67th minute of play forced Buenaventura FC's goalkeeper Leonidas Barrera to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jan Zorge made an important save on a dangerous shot by André-Pierre Gignac in the 72nd minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when André-Pierre Gignac got free with Jan Zorge in the 72nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a little luck, The Skates's Jan Zorge got control of the ball when Miguel Urane tried to sneak it across the goal line. Jan Zorge showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Miguel Urane, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. 79 minutes into the match, Edgar Degas notched a goal, 4-2, to the right of Buenaventura FC's Leonidas Barrera. Leonidas Barrera was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 81 minutes into the match, The Skates's goal looked a bit too open when Roger Martinez came free, but Jan Zorge reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jan Zorge showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from André-Pierre Gignac in the 82nd minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cezary Przybylo in the 84th minute of play forced The Skates's goalkeeper Jan Zorge to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 86 minutes into the match, Edgar Degas had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Leonidas Barrera. Buenaventura FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Edgar Degas was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-2. Cheito Brandao's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Jan Zorge firmly grabbed it by the left post. A collision led to The Skates getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Edgar Degas hit a great ball. Jan Zorge made an important save on a dangerous shot by André-Pierre Gignac in the 94th minute. For all the effort they put into the match, the Buenaventura FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for The Skates.
