Cusco FC's Inge Tuero played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rahim Atif in the 17th minute of play. When Aznag Tanjawi fell near the penalty area in the 21st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Marrakech FC's protests and gave Aznag Tanjawi a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Marrakech FC getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Aznag Tanjawi hit a great ball. In the 23rd minute Rodriguez Baptiste shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aziz Daoudi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rahim Atif fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Inge Tuero having to interfere. Cusco FC's Inge Tuero played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aznag Tanjawi in the 25th minute of play. After 26 played minutes Cusco FC got a freekick which was hit by Rodas Alfaro. Rodriguez Baptiste recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ridouane Naybet fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Inge Tuero having to interfere. Aziz Daoudi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ticho Paya, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ticho Paya got free with Aziz Daoudi in the 37th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Cusco FC's Inge Tuero played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aznag Tanjawi in the 40th minute of play. Ridouane Naybet hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. 45 minutes into the match, Cusco FC's Enetz Vede broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal.

The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Rahim Atif during the 75th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 75 played minutes Marrakech FC got a freekick which was hit by Rahim Atif. Abdelkabir Chafni hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Marrakech FC's Aznag Tanjawi got a free kick in the 80th minute. During the 85th minute of the match Aznag Tanjawi completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Aznag Tanjawi a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. The supporters of Cusco FC booed when Marrakech FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 85 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aznag Tanjawi didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ridouane Naybet's late challenge caught a Cusco FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ridouane Naybet helped the player get up and apologised. After 91 played minutes Marrakech FC got a freekick which was hit by Ridouane Naybet. Aziz Daoudi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ticho Paya, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
