When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Israel Oier made a kick off. 54 minutes into the match, Paulopolis's Lino Meira sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Victorio Quico narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 67th minute, ATE AFC's Gilberto Nayely dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-2. After 69 minutes, Sebastian Abreu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the ATE AFC and the Paulopolis players grew even worse after the yellow card. A very good chance for a goal. 77 minutes into the game, ATE AFC's Gilberto Nayely nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Hakim Frémont made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-3. After 81 minutes of play, ATE AFC's Gilberto Nayely made it 1-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. With a little luck, Paulopolis's Hakim Frémont got control of the ball when Israel Oier tried to sneak it across the goal line. The referee ignored Paulopolis's protests and gave Enio Freire a yellow card for diving instead. In the 90th minute, one of Paulopolis:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Paulopolis. Hakim Frémont made a fantastic save in the 96th minute, when Israel Oier sent off a good shot on target. In the 98th minute of the match Gaspar Erlantz shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Hakim Frémont showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. ATE AFC's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
