Aston Villa FC's Marcus Engström played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Casimiro Innocenzio in the 25th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 35th minute, Godofredo Galo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Brown de Adrogué's supporters rose to their feet, but Godofredo Galo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marcus Engström breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Villiam Mager kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. After 42 minutes, Casimiro Innocenzio mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Brown de Adrogué and the Aston Villa FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 54th minute, Godofredo Galo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 56 minutes into the match, Brown de Adrogué's goal looked a bit too open when Bo Lange came free, but Godofredo Carlomagno reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Aston Villa FC's Marcus Engström proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 62nd minute of the match, managed to save Aston Villa FC from getting a goal against them. Pablo Corderun's late challenge caught a Aston Villa FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bo Lange recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Godofredo Galo struck a weak shot in the 75th minute. Marcus Engström didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Brown de Adrogué. Marcus Engström tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Godofredo Galo in the 87th minute of play forced Aston Villa FC's goalkeeper Marcus Engström to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Villiam Mager's late challenge caught a Brown de Adrogué's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Villiam Mager helped the player get up and apologised. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Bo Lange in the 96th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Godofredo Carlomagno saved Brown de Adrogué from getting behind. Villiam Mager hit a great freekick 97 minutes into the match. After having played for 99 minutes, Godofredo Galo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Brown de Adrogué's supporters crossed their fingers, but Godofredo Galo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Brown de Adrogué's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
