In the 5th minute the ball was on its way in behind Brown de Adrogué's goalkeeper Godofredo Carlomagno, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Brown de Adrogué's Arnoldo Aurre in the 7th minute got a chance for a shot 7th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Paulopolis's goalie prevented a goal. Hakim Frémont didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Casimiro Innocenzio went, in the 11th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Hudson Vargas kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. After having played for 15 minutes, Benito Milio managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Brown de Adrogué's supporters crossed their fingers, but Benito Milio was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Paulopolis booed when Brown de Adrogué was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Apolo Eleder didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hakim Frémont showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Godofredo Galo in the 21st minute of the match. After having played for 23 minutes, Lino Meira managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Paulopolis's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lino Meira was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Godofredo Carlomagno made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lino Meira in the 24th minute of play. After having played for 37 minutes, Lino Meira managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Paulopolis's supporters crossed their fingers, but Lino Meira was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Egídio Fonseca kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. Brown de Adrogué's Arnoldo Aurre got a good chance for a goal in the 45th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Arnoldo Aurre was the one to do the kick off. Godofredo Carlomagno made an important save on a dangerous shot by Lino Meira in the 53rd minute. A collision led to Paulopolis getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Pedro Luís Capixaba hit a great ball. When Brown de Adrogué's Arnoldo Aurre in the 55th minute got a chance for a shot 55th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Paulopolis's goalie prevented a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arnoldo Aurre in the 56th minute of play forced Paulopolis's goalkeeper Hakim Frémont to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hakim Frémont took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Godofredo Galo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Brown de Adrogué's Arnoldo Aurre in the 64th minute got a chance for a shot 64th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Paulopolis's goalie prevented a goal. After a rather tough play, Paulopolis's Rui Baiano got a free kick in the 69th minute. Murilo Cavalcante's late challenge caught a Brown de Adrogué's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Murilo Cavalcante helped the player get up and apologised. Casimiro Innocenzio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hakim Frémont having to interfere. Benito Milio hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arnoldo Aurre in the 89th minute of play forced Paulopolis's goalkeeper Hakim Frémont to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Casimiro Innocenzio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Hakim Frémont having to interfere. Hakim Frémont came out of the goal in the 92nd minute to try and stop a shot by Brown de Adrogué's Godofredo Galo. But to his dismay, Godofredo Galo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. When Rui Baiano fell near the penalty area in the 95th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Paulopolis's protests and gave Rui Baiano a yellow card for diving instead. After 95 played minutes Paulopolis got a freekick which was hit by Rui Baiano. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Brown de Adrogué had played much better football throughout.
