Hakim Frémont showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luca Langoni in the 43rd minute of the match. After 44 minutes of play, The Potters's Alexander Holmbro made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Hakim Frémont was left in no man's land by his defense there! Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The referee ignored Paulopolis's protests and gave Rui Baiano a yellow card for diving instead. If Marcel Vieira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Potters's Alfonso Osorio was substituted for Hasan Teglengaard. The Potters's Diego Gentil got a good chance for a goal in the 61st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Marcel Vieira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. Paulopolis's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-3. After a rather tough play, The Potters's Alexander Holmbro got a free kick in the 95th minute. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Paulopolis were victorious despite being under pressure from The Potters for much of the match.
