With an extended leg and a bit of luck Marcus Engström prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Marcus Engström made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rahim Atif in the 35th minute of play. In the 37th minute Bo Lange shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aziz Daoudi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marrakech FC's Osmane Molhamam managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Leonardo Lenberg in the 41 minute of the game. Marcus Engström took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rahim Atif, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 45th minute, Aznag Tanjawi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The Marrakech FC fans' excitement grew in the 46th match minute when Marrakech FC's Rahim Atif looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Matthias Askberg took the ball and in the 71 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Aziz Daoudi. Aziz Daoudi dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Aznag Tanjawi during the 74th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Aznag Tanjawi hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. Marcus Engström didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Rahim Atif went, in the 77th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-4 was the resulting score. Tor Ödmann charged in rather forcefully in the 80th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Tor Ödmann the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Aston Villa FC's Tor Ödmann got a free kick in the 80th minute. Marrakech FC's Misbah Skah got a good chance for a goal in the 82nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Marrakech FC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
